In Eastern Europe, a terrorist group has launched an attack on a country, prompting its citizens and military to engage in combat. Meanwhile, the United States military has arrived in the country, claiming to assist in the fight against terrorism. However, suspicions arise that the true motive behind their presence is to exploit the country's mineral resources. In the midst of this turmoil, a ranger named Niko finds himself torn between defending his nation against both the terrorists and the US occupation. Driven by a desire for liberation, Niko decides to take up arms and fight for his country's freedom.
